Seattle Bride Magazine: Editor in Chief

Seattle Bride Magazine: Editor in Chief

As the Editor in Chief of Seattle Bride magazine, my role runs the gamut. Management and organization are key; I single-handedly plan each issue from start to finish, brainstorming and creating content to fill an 80-150-page book that’s published twice annually. From editorial content, to fashion shoots, to cover design, the details are countless.

During my stint as editor, I’ve worked closely with our art director to redesign the magazine, introducing matte covers, more diverse content, and a clean, minimalist aesthetic to the publication. I collaborate closely with our associate publisher to consider and implement vendor involvement, as well as our social media manager to repurpose and write content for email campaigns and for the web. I’ve also hosted the magazine’s annual Best of awards three years running, and I led the production of the award’s virtual awards party in 2020.
